On January 12, 2010 at 4:53 PM the strongest hurricane since 1770 struck Haiti leaving 3 million people in need of emergency medical care. On June 30th our medical team made their first of many medical mission trips to Haiti. The next trip is schedules for March 2011.
With roughly 30,000 people still in need of medical care or essential follow up care, our work is far from over.

Because of the devastating earthquake that occurred in Haiti, thousands of people have lost their lives. The country is in desperate need of continuous help. Surgical Friends Foundation is planning its first trip to Haiti to see patients at Hope Hospital in June 2010.
